CHARACTERS
Agriman
Fighting the world’s problems with food is his masterplan. His mission is to encourage youth in agriculture and guess what, he happens to be a farmer! Through promoting the importance of agriculture, he aims to help youth to develop their own understanding, motivation and commitment to the “Why?” of farming. AGRIman’s goal is to empower youth to contribute to feeding 9.7 billion people by the year 2050.
Agribot
As AGRIMAN’s official sidekick, AGRIBOT brings artificial intelligence and digital agricultural tools and systems to the team. Alongside high powered traditional tools, he is equipped with the newest technologies – soil testers, drones, hydroponics build outs etc. and the ability to harness solar and wind energy. He helps AGRIMAN with surveillance, fighting battles and teaching farmers how to improve efficiency.
Photosynthesista
A sun goddess who lives off the forest, Photosynthesista delves into the ancient art of “Bush medicine” – her cure for disease lies in the application of herbs which possess special medicinal properties – leaves, flowers, bark and roots. She runs a plant nursery, using her powerful bracelets to capture sunlight and convert into energy, she is able to infuse her concoctions with healing regenerative properties. Her philosophy is steeped in traditional methods and her ancestral Merikin heritage.
Climutate
Powered by people’s bad behaviour, CLIMUTATE uses carbon dioxide gases, to control the temperature generating intense heat and intense cold. He uses this power to create extreme weather conditions (drought, and flood) to strip the vegetation, cause flooding and destroy crops, contaminate the groundwaters, and drain the soil of its nutrients.
